engaging animal interactions

Experiencing the engaging animal interactions and the delicious breakfast with homemade goat milk yogurt was a highlight. Gina and D'arcy's welcoming nature made us feel right at home in this beautiful lodge.

beautiful hotel

perfectly situated for exploring salida and enjoying nature walks

The hosts were cute and made sure our dietary needs were met with a delicious breakfast. The hotel is conveniently close to Droney Gulch, offering beautiful trails to explore right from the doorstep.

cramped parking

The homemade breakfasts made with fresh ingredients from the farm were an very nice way to start the day.

The parking spaces can feel a bit cramped, especially during busy weekends.

wonderful hosts

Gina and D'arcy were wonderful hosts, offering amazing homemade breakfasts with fresh ingredients from their farm. The clean rooms had comfortable beds and amazing views of the Sawatch Range.

The highs and the lows

The views from the Shavano Room were amazing and the hosts. The off-leash area for dogs and animal interactions enriched the stay.

The parking areas felt a bit cramped during peak times which could be inconvenient when many guests were around.
